Dr. Mounir Borno

  Dr. Borno is a board-certified cardiologist who is currently serving patients at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital has been improving the healthcare experience in the South Plains since 2003.

Dr. Charles Addington

Dr. Charles Addington is a family medicine doctor in Lubbock, Texas, and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area. He has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Dr. Lisa Gittner, Vice Chair

Dr. Gittner is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She has a Bachelor and Master of Science in Biochemistry/ Toxicology from Wright State University and received her Doctorate in Public Administration and Health Policy from the University of Akron. Dr. Gittner's post-doc was at Case Western Reserve University as a Program Director for a National Institute of Health/ National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities grant (1RC2-MD004760-01) studying mechanisms to activate medically and socially disenfranchised patients to advocate for their own health.

Mr. Jack Driskill, Member

Mr. Driskill is the managing partner of the Firm. He heads the banking and commercial law section of the Firm. He has extensive experience in the representation of financial institutions. He is a founding member of the Texas Bank Lawyers Association and has served as a Director on two different occasions. Mr. Driskill has a sophisticated transactional practice and serves as general counsel of several companies, including developers and owner of apartment projects. The transactional practice is focused on real estate, oil & gas and the structuring of business entities.

Mr. Jeramy Furgerson, (IT)

Dr. Bupesh Dihenia, (Neurologist) Secretary

Mr. Bhupesh Dihenia is a Medical Doctor at Grace Health Clinic. His Specialties and subspecialties include areas such as Neurology, Neuro-Imaging, and Sleep Medicine. Doing his residency at the University of Missouri, he is board certified in Neurology and Psychiatry. His 22 years in the healthcare field have enhanced West Texas healthcare by providing his skills and empathy to patient care.

Mrs. Crystal Furgerson, (Accountant) Treasurer

Crystal Furgerson is an Associate Director of Finance at Texas Tech University Health Sciences School of Medicine Department of Family and Community Medicine. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration concentration in Accounts from Angelo State University. Crystal has worked intensively with budgets for nearly sixteen years. She brings a wealth of budget and finance knowledge to the group.

Mrs. Leen Borno, Member

 Leen Borno has served Lubbock as a community leader for more than 15 years. Fiercely dedicated to all her volunteer efforts, she has served at the Lubbock Symphony Board, Lubbock Symphony Guild, the National Charity League board, the South Plains Food Bank,  and organized TedX at Texas Tech University. Leen Borno has a passion for design and unique creation that played a major role in her journey to become a master jeweler. She founded leen95 high fashion jewelry and as a youth advocate, she founded a non-profit, U(biquitous) Labs Makerspace for the Lubbock Community.
